Our mission is to feed the spirit, soul and body of the people in our community.
Type of Organization:
We are a faith-based organization operating as a church, dedicated to serving our community through spiritual guidance, social support, and community development initiatives. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals and families can grow in faith, find support, and work together for the betterment of our community.
Who We Serve:
We serve a diverse congregation and community members of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. Our services extend to individuals seeking spiritual growth, families in need of support, youth looking for guidance, and anyone in our community facing hardship or seeking a sense of belonging. Our programs and outreach efforts are designed to meet the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of our community.
How We Benefit the Community:
1. Spiritual Guidance and Worship Services:
- We provide regular worship services, Bible studies, and prayer meetings that offer spiritual nourishment and a sense of community.
2. Social Support and Counseling:
- Our pastoral care team offers counseling and support to individuals and families dealing with life challenges, including grief, relationship issues, school fees, accommodation issues, job challenges, and personal crises.
3. Community Outreach and Charity Programs:
- We run food drives, clothing donations, workshops, seminars (marriage, employment, self-development, diversity) free training, and other charitable programs to support those in need within our community.
4. Youth Programs:
- Our youth programs provide mentorship, educational support, relationship support, and recreational activities, helping young people develop positive values and life skills.
5. Cultural and Educational Events:
- We organize events that celebrate cultural diversity, promote understanding, and provide educational opportunities for all ages.
6. Volunteer Opportunities:
- We offer numerous opportunities for community members to engage in volunteer work, fostering a spirit of service and community involvement.
Estimate of Beneficiaries:
Through our various programs and services, we estimate that we benefit approximately 700-1,000 individuals directly and indirectly each year. This includes our regular congregation members, participants in our outreach programs, recipients of our charitable initiatives, and those who attend our community events. Indirectly, our impact extends further as the positive changes in the lives of our beneficiaries ripple out to their families, friends, and the broader community.
