Our Vision
RCCG Living Faith Sunderland seeks to be more than a place of worship; we seek to be a source of hope, support, empowerment and transformation within our church and the wider community.
Through our charitable and welfare activities, we aim to feed the spirit, soul and body, strengthen families, empower individuals, create opportunities, support those in need and contribute positively to the wellbeing of our community.

Charity & community support
RCCG Living Faith Sunderland is committed to feeding the spirit, soul and body, supporting individuals and families in practical ways, and making a meaningful difference in the wider community.
Food & Crisis Relief
Food Bank & Food Support
Providing food and essential supplies to more than 200 families every month, helping individuals and families facing food insecurity and financial hardship.
Christmas & Seasonal Support
Supporting families during Christmas and other significant periods through food parcels, gifts, essential items and community activities, particularly for families experiencing hardship.
Emergency & Crisis Support
Providing practical assistance, where possible, to members and families facing unexpected emergencies or significant short-term hardship.
Family & Life Support
New Mothers & Baby Support
Providing baby baskets and essential items to new mothers, celebrating new life while supporting families during the early stages of parenthood.
Marriage & Family Support
Providing marriage enrichment programmes, relationship education, family workshops and pastoral support to strengthen marriages and families.
Support for New Families & Vulnerable Individuals
Providing practical pastoral and welfare support to individuals and families who may be particularly vulnerable, including those experiencing major life transitions.
Learning & Employability
Free Health & Social Care Training
Organising free training and development opportunities in health and social care, equipping members with practical skills, qualifications and knowledge that can improve their employment opportunities.
Free Workshops, Seminars & Personal Development
Providing free workshops and seminars covering areas such as marriage and family life, employment, career development, social care, financial management, leadership, entrepreneurship and life skills.
Employment & Job Skills Support
Helping members and community residents develop CV writing, interview, workplace, communication and employability skills, while signposting them towards employment and training opportunities.
Youth & Young Adult Development
Supporting young people through mentoring, career guidance, skills development, leadership programmes and faith-based personal development.
Digital Inclusion & Access to Technology
Helping people who face digital exclusion by providing opportunities to develop digital skills and access essential online services, education and employment resources.
Free Educational & Professional Development Programmes
Creating opportunities for members and community residents to gain knowledge, professional skills and personal development without the financial barriers associated with commercial training.

Interest-Free Mortgage Deposit Support
Providing interest-free financial assistance to church members towards their first mortgage deposit, helping families move towards home ownership and greater financial stability.
Interest-Free Education Support
Supporting members with school and educational fees through interest-free assistance, helping children and young people remain in education despite financial challenges.
Interest-Free Visa & Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) Support
Providing interest-free financial assistance to members facing eligible visa, immigration and Certificate of Sponsorship-related costs, helping families navigate significant financial pressures.
Support for People Experiencing Financial Hardship
Providing practical welfare assistance and signposting for individuals and families experiencing financial difficulties, unemployment, unexpected hardship or other challenging circumstances.
Community, Outreach & Wellbeing
Community Outreach & Evangelism
Reaching out to the wider community through food distribution, prayer, practical support, evangelism and community engagement, ensuring that people are supported both spiritually and practically.
Community Health & Wellbeing Initiatives
Organising or supporting health awareness programmes, wellbeing workshops and community health initiatives to encourage healthier and more informed communities.
The Living Faith Academy
The Living Faith Academy is a planned skills and capability development initiative for young people and adults in our church and wider community. It will provide practical, hands-on learning in areas such as digital skills, technology, AI, entrepreneurship, financial capability and employability, supported by mentoring, projects and opportunities to gain real-world experience.
For learners, the Academy will help build practical skills, confidence, experience and pathways towards employment, further learning, entrepreneurship and service. For our community, it will help develop people, unlock talent, strengthen employability and create a growing pool of skilled individuals who can contribute positively to the church, local organisations and businesses.
Living Faith Business Discovery Hub
The Living Faith Business Discovery Hub is a public, searchable directory that helps people discover businesses owned or co-owned by members of RCCG Living Faith Sunderland. Visitors can search by their needs, services, products and categories, view detailed business profiles and contact businesses directly.
For business owners, the Hub provides greater visibility, a professional online presence and another route for potential customers to discover them. For our church and wider community, it makes it easier to identify local skills and services, encourage community patronage, strengthen connections between businesses and customers, and support the growth of enterprise within our community.
